Workers' Comp Seminar Scheduled for May 10th

        Wilkins Tipton's annual Workers' Compensation Seminar will be held Thursday, May 10th at the Hilton Hotel in Jackson.

        Speakers and their topics include: John Brodbeck - President of Mississippi Safety Services, Transportation Safety in the Age of Smart Phones; Dr. David Lee, Clinical Exams and Neurological Testing; and Dr. Stanton Ward, Discectomy, Laminectomy and Fusion - What's the Difference?

        Administrative judges from the Mississippi Workers' Compensation Commission will participate in a panel discussion moderated by William A. Patterson, President of the firm's Board of Directors. Included on the panel will be Robert J. (Trey) Arnold, Homer Best and Linda Thompson.

        MWCC Chairman, Liles Williams, will also make brief remarks prior to the seminar luncheon.

        Wilkins Tipton attorney Joe Wilkins will discuss Workers' Compensation Subrogation Lien. Sharon Moncure Mangum will speak on the Effects of Social Security Disability Benefits on Workers' Comp Claims. Sandy Doty will address the issues of How Intoxication and Horseplay Affect the Workers' Comp Claim.
