Hagwood to Speak at National Seminar
May 14, 2012.Carl Hagwood has been invited to speak at the Defense Research Institute's annual seminar Sept. 20-21 at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mr. Hagwood along with co-presenter Kirsten K. Ullman with Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith out of Tampa, Florida will address "The Tried and True Plaintiff's Case" discussing effective plaintiffs' tactics and opportunities for the defense.
A member of DRI's Medical Liability and Health Care Law committee, Mr. Hagwood has successfully litigated cases throughout the United States and is licensed to practice in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee. He has been a Martindale Hubbell "AV" rated attorney for more than 30 years and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America as well as Super Lawyers.
DRI's Nursing Home/ALF Litigation Seminar is the preeminent program for attorneys in private practice, in-house counsel, claims specialists and other professionals involved in the defense of claims against long-term and end-of-life care providers and is expected to be attended by 400 or more DRI members.
