Wilkins Tipton specializes in litigation. We have both experience and expertise in this specialized area of the law, serving clients throughout Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama and Arkansas. Although some of our attorneys practice in other areas, every attorney here handles matters associated with litigation. Our firm handles a variety of types of litigation including medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, workers' compensation, premises liability, products liability, automobile accident litigation and construction litigation. We represent the interests and limit the exposure of businesses and corporations and have done so successfully since the firm’s inception. As a result, we have developed numerous working relationships that have stood the test of time.
The firm was founded in 1978, and throughout its history has proven to be an accessible, responsive and cost effective asset to our clients. We’re accomplished, yet unpretentious. Our attorneys and support staff are a continuous source of strength during the most trying of times.
Our firm is large enough to tackle complex cases that require the commitment of substantial manpower and resources, but we’re streamlined enough to avoid the needless bureaucracy that plagues so many firms. Everyone in our firm, from top to bottom, is easily reached and ever mindful of the importance of providing timely responses to client requests.
In January of 2009, Wilkins Tipton further strengthened its commitment to efficiency and dedication to client service by naming George W. Flinn our firm's first chief executive officer. Mr. Flinn's addition in this top executive management capacity is indicative of Wilkins Tipton’s strategy of focusing on business processes and management systems that allow the firm’s attorneys more time to do what they do best: litigate on behalf of our valued clients.
Mr. Flinn has extensive management experience including most recently serving as operations manager for three offices of the international professional firm, Deloitte. Prior to that, he was director of administration for the 800-attorney Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal law firm’s Kansas City office. He also served our country for 20 years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
Going forward, Wilkins Tipton’s redefined focus of optimizing performance from a businesslike perspective is all driven by doing everything we can to perfect our core competency: being here for you, accessible, successful, and ready at a moment’s notice to defend your position.
